"I spent seven days traveling in Ethiopia with a guide Ephrem from Southern Ethiopia Tours. We spent two days in Addis Ababa and the rest of the time in a Southern town Arba Minch. I was traveling alone, and am extremely pleased with the tour. We visited a lot of tourist attractions, like Silasi church and Cultural restaurant in the capital, as well as the National Park, lake Chamo with crocodiles, and Dorze village with the Gamo tribe in Arba Minch. It was all very fascinating, but what I liked even more is that he took me to many local places for meals and dancing, where I actually got a chance to interact with Ethiopia people. I have traveled to quite a few places before, but I never had such a close contact with local people as on this trip, and I believe it is all due to Ephrem. I feel like I got much closer to understanding Ethiopian culture by spending time with Ethiopians. No tourist attraction could have ever succeeded in doing that. Ephrem knows Ethiopia well, and he knows how to make tourists happy. He always listened to my opinion and wishes adjusting the program along the way. "I have been to Ethiopia many times, but to the South was the first time and I really enjoyed it a lot. I contacted Ephrem and he was very friendly and helpful throughout my journey. I could not have better service. He took me to an adventurous boat trip along the Lake Chamo where I saw crocodiles. Then I visited a beautiful and preserved park called Nechisar National Park, where I saw different birds, zebras and gazelles. On the way to a lovely town called Jinka (by a jeep from his company and driven by a very friendly driver), we stopped to Dameka market and its wonderful personages with traditional tribal costume. From Jinka, we went to the Mago National Park and it's stunning landscape where we visited the amazing Mursi tribe.
