“I have known Ephrem Girmachew for over 10 years and have travelled with him through many parts of Ethiopia. Ephrem is reliable, trustworthy, intelligent and a university educated, fun person to be with, which is not often the case with other tour guides.”
"I have been to Ethiopia many times, but to the South was the first time and I really enjoyed it a lot. I contacted Ephrem and he was very friendly and helpful throughout my journey. I could not have better service. He took me to an adventurous boat trip along the Lake Chamo where I saw crocodiles...." For full testimonial please see below
I spent seven days traveling in Ethiopia with a guide Ephrem from Southern Ethiopia Tours. We spent two days in Addis Ababa and the rest of the time in a Southern town Arba Minch. I was traveling alone, and am extremely pleased with the tour.... full testimonial see below.
Ephrem Is a brilliant tour guide with a unique approach. Personable and resourceful, I give him my highest recommendations.
“"I spent 6 weeks touring Ethiopia with Ephrem as my personal guide in 2012. We traveled by car throughout the country, from the southern tribal areas of the Omo Valley, to Gambela in the west near the South Sudan border, and then north to the fabled cities of Lalibela and Gondar. I was very pleased with Ephrem's commitment to making my trip everything I hoped it would be, particularly his careful attention to making sure the itinerary meshed well with the time available. I had met Ephrem 6 years earlier when I was in Ethiopia on a humanitarian mission. A student then, and already quite proficient in English, Ephrem proved to be a great help to me in making arrangements for a patient. With this prior history, I knew Ephrem would be a great choice for guiding my 2012 trip, and I was not disappointed."
